Asthma - Do you have to rinse your mouth after using albuterol?

Answers

Yes. Rent your mouth twice for about 10 seconds, then spit. This is because Albuterol can promote the growth of candida in the mouth, which of course we don't want.

I’ve had asthma for years & no one told to rinse albuterol
I was only told to rinse my maintenance inhaler. Then I got thrush because I didn’t rinse after albuterol. Thanku for your answer!

Of course I meant rinse not rent, Calli. LOL.
Glad I could help. Candida is easy to treat, and now you know what caused it. Best of luck to you my friend.
